Please read these terms before using the Checking application.

1. Free Public Use & Calibration Tool

Checking is a precision browser-based bank check calibration and layout tool provided free of charge for commercial, organizational, and personal administrative use.

2. Verification & Printing Accuracy Responsibility

Because mechanical printer hardware, paper feed trays, inkjet rollers, and manufacturer drivers vary:

• Test Printing Mandatory: You must always perform test prints on plain paper or void test checks to verify optical millimeter alignment before printing on actual bank negotiable instruments.
• User Responsibility: The user is solely responsible for verifying the legal text amounts, numeric currency figures, payee names, authorized signatory designations, and dates before disbursing checks.
• No Financial Liability: The authors and service operators of Checking assume no legal or financial liability for bank return fees, printer paper jams, ink misalignments, check processing discrepancies, or banking clearing fees resulting from the use of this software.

3. Authorized & Lawful Use Only

You agree to use this software strictly for lawful financial operations on bank accounts you are authorized to operate. Any fraudulent check alteration, unauthorized check issuing, or illegal counterfeit production is strictly prohibited.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
